Nearly 600 first-year students welcomed to the Baldwin Wallace University campus this fall earned $7.7 million in merit scholarships for their outstanding high school achievements. BW grants a wide range of scholarships to current students each year. Including merit and need-based scholarships, BW students received over $48 million in financial support from the University for the 2018-2019 academic year.

The Golf Coaches Association of America (GCAA) announced the Srixon/Cleveland Golf All-American Scholars from Divisions I, II, and III as well as the National Assosication of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA). To achieve this status, the student must be a junior or senior, participate in 50-percent of his team's competitive rounds, have a stroke-average under 76.0 in Division I, 78.0 in Division II, 78.0 in NAIA and 79.0 in Division III, and maintain a minimum GPA of 3.2. The recipient must also be of high moral character and be in good standing at his college or university. The 2017-18 All-American Scholars included two Mount students.

Twenty-seven students spent the spring 2018 semester away from BW learning off campus. With help from the BW Study Abroad Center's Independent Study program, students created individualized immersion experiences in Denmark, England, France, Ireland, Japan, Morocco, Russia, South Korea, Spain, Sweden and Switzerland.
