A pair of freshmen from the Capital University women's lacrosse team received Ohio Athletic Conference Player of the Week honors Monday as Korri Titus earned Offensive Player of the Week and Maddie Wilson received Defensive Player of the Week.

The University of Findlay is hosting the 2014 Juried Student Art Exhibition April 7-24, in the Gardner Fine Arts Pavilion, Dudley and Mary Marks Lea Gallery, on campus. Any UF student was eligible to enter artwork for consideration. Categories include painting, drawing and mixed media, printmaking, ceramics, sculpture, design, digital photography, film photography and visual communication.

The 70-voice UF Concert-Chorale and a 50-piece orchestra will perform "The Armed Man: A Mass for Peace" by Welsh composer Karl Jenkins at 3 p.m. Sunday, April 6, in the Winebrenner Theological Seminary TLB Auditorium.

A distinguished group of students at Baldwin Wallace University have reached BW's pinnacle of academic honor society achievement with Fall 2013 induction into The Dayton C. Miller Honor Society. Less than four percent of the undergraduate student body achieves membership in the society.

Northeast Ohio Medical University welcomed its Class of 2017 with White Coat Ceremonies Sept. 10. White coats are symbolic of the professionalism that is expected of medicine and pharmacy students during their professional school years and as physicians and pharmacists. During the White Coat Ceremonies, students received their white coats and pledged their commitments to their professions and the health of the patients they will serve. Two ceremonies were held - the ceremony for pharmacy students began at 10 a.m.; the ceremony for medicine students began at 2 p.m. - with more than 1,000 family, friends, students, faculty and staff attending.
